Gorakhpur (Uttar Pradesh): Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Tuesday conducted a ‘Janta Darshan’ programme in Gorakhpur, where he interacted directly with citizens and listened to their grievances.
During the public outreach event, the Chief Minister instructed officials to prioritise the resolution of complaints and ensure prompt action.
On the occasion of World Wildlife Day, Adityanath also extended greetings to the people of the state. In a post on X, he emphasised the importance of wildlife conservation, stating that protecting wildlife is essential for maintaining biodiversity and ecological balance. He said conservation efforts are not only about safeguarding nature but also about securing a better future for coming generations.
A day earlier, while addressing a gathering at the Holika Dahan Shobha Yatra, the Chief Minister reiterated that the “double-engine government” is committed to providing security and essential facilities to the people of the state. He stressed that development progresses from the grassroots level upward, asserting that the state’s growth is key to the nation’s overall progress.
Meanwhile, Uttar Pradesh is poised for a significant boost in its real estate and infrastructure sectors, as leading developer 1-OAK signed a Memorandum of Understanding worth Rs 3,000 crore with the state government.
The agreement was formalised during the Chief Minister’s official visit to Singapore, where he met 1-OAK Managing Director Amritanshu Roy, who also serves as Chief Operating Officer of Singapore-based Greenfield Advisory, the parent firm of 1-OAK.
