The Aryavath Express Patna (Bihar): BJP leader and MLA Nitin Nabin on Tuesday reviewed the progress of the Mandiri and Bakarganj Nala schemes, stating that the projects are nearing completion and will provide improved civic facilities to residents.
Speaking to reporters in Patna, Nabin said he has been closely monitoring the projects. “As an MLA, I am reviewing the progress of the Mandiri and Bakarganj Nala schemes. The work will be completed very soon, and once finished, people will receive a new facility. On the instructions of the Deputy Chief Minister, work on the large drainage systems is also progressing rapidly,” he said.
Earlier, Nabin also welcomed the announcement of the framework for an Interim Trade Agreement between India and the United States, saying it is expected to expand market access, attract investment and generate employment opportunities.
In a post on X, he said the agreement reflects the growing strength of India-US relations. “India-US economic engagement takes a decisive step forward. The Interim Trade Agreement framework, shaped under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and President Donald Trump, reflects the trust and strategic depth of the partnership,” he wrote.
Nabin added that the framework would benefit multiple sectors, including agriculture, MSMEs and entrepreneurship. “The agreement is expected to unlock greater market access, attract investment and generate large-scale employment, especially for India’s youth, while further strengthening the ‘Make in India’ initiative,” he said.
Highlighting its broader impact, he said farmers, MSMEs, exporters, entrepreneurs and the blue economy would benefit from smoother trade flows, resilient supply chains and deeper technology collaboration. “As India moves towards a Viksit Bharat, such future-oriented global partnerships strengthen India’s role as a reliable growth engine and a trusted partner in global value chains,” he added.
