The Aryavarth Express

New Delhi: The Indian Navy, in collaboration with the Indian Army and Indian Air Force, is set to conduct the Tri-Services Exercise (TSE-2025) ‘Trishul’ in early November 2025. The large-scale joint exercise will be led by the Navy and coordinated by the Headquarters of the Western Naval Command.

The exercise will involve extensive operations across the creek and desert sectors of Rajasthan and Gujarat, as well as complex maritime missions in the North Arabian Sea, including amphibious landings and carrier-based operations.

Key formations participating in Trishul include the Army’s Southern Command, the Navy’s Western Naval Command, and the Air Force’s South Western Air Command. The Indian Coast Guard, Border Security Force, and several central agencies will also take part, reinforcing inter-agency coordination and integrated national defense efforts.

Designed to validate and synchronize joint operational procedures, Trishul aims to enhance interoperability between the Services, strengthen integrated networks, and refine multi-domain operational capabilities. The exercise will feature large-scale deployment of warships, fighter aircraft, and amphibious assets such as INS Jalashwa and Landing Craft Utility (LCU) vessels.

A major focus will be on testing joint Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR), Electronic Warfare (EW), and Cyber Warfare strategies. The Indian Navy will also conduct carrier operations in coordination with shore-based Air Force units.

Emphasizing the vision of Aatmanirbhar Bharat, the exercise will showcase the effective use of indigenous systems and technologies. It will also help refine procedures to counter emerging threats and adapt to the evolving dynamics of modern warfare.

TSE-2025 ‘Trishul’ reflects the Indian Armed Forces’ collective commitment to operate in a unified, integrated manner—enhancing joint operational readiness and bolstering national security preparedness.
