Agency(Ayodhya): Prime Minister Narendra Modi extended warm Ram Navami greetings on Wednesday, expressing a profound joy as Ayodhya witnessed its first celebration of the festival at the newly consecrated Ram temple. This event, he noted, represents a pivotal moment in India’s cultural and spiritual history, linking countless generations through devotion and anticipation of a new era.
“The first Ram Navami after the Pran Pratishtha (consecration) in Ayodhya is a generational milestone, weaving together centuries of devotion with a new era of hope and progress. This is a day crores of Indians waited for,” Modi shared through a series of posts on the social platform X. He described this occasion as the culmination of years of sacrifices and diligent efforts by the people of India.
Celebrating the birth of Lord Ram, the temple at Ayodhya marks a sacred site believed to be his birthplace. Modi reflected on the spiritual significance of the day, “May the blessings of Prabhu Shri Ram always remain upon us and guide our paths towards righteousness and peace, illuminating our lives with wisdom and courage.”
The Prime Minister conveyed his emotional response to the celebration, feeling overwhelmed with gratitude as he recounted the vibrant memories of the temple’s consecration ceremony, which he and many others witnessed. These memories, he said, continue to resonate with the same vitality.
Ram Navami also serves as a moment to honor the saints and devotees whose lifelong dedication made the temple’s construction possible. Modi reiterated his vision for India, inspired by the life and values of Maryada Purushottam Bhagwan Ram. “I am confident that Lord Ram’s life and ideals will become a strong basis for constructing ‘Viksit Bharat’. His blessings will provide new energy to the resolve of ‘Aatmanirbhar Bharat’,” he stated, linking spiritual heritage with the national goals of development and self-reliance.
