Bengaluru: The CEDCO BSF Bengaluru marked a significant milestone with the successful completion of the RO Gde-III Basic Technical Trade Course, culminating in a grand valedictory ceremony. A total of 168 newly enrolled BSF personnel graduated from the course, now equipped with critical technical skills to strengthen the force’s communication and IT infrastructure.
The rigorous training program spanned multiple domains, offering in-depth instruction in communication systems, information technology, cipher operations, networking, cybersecurity, HF/VHF/UHF communications, drone and anti-drone technology, GeM procedures, generator operations, store handling, and the operation of radio sets and measuring equipment. Additionally, trainees received an overview of emerging technologies such as Big Data and Artificial Intelligence—an essential step in modernizing BSF capabilities.
The valedictory ceremony was presided over by the Chief Guest, Sh. Dinesh Kumar Yadav, IPS, Inspector General, CEDCO BSF Bengaluru. In his address, Sh. Yadav commended the dedication of the trainees and emphasized the importance of technical proficiency in safeguarding national security. He encouraged the graduates to continue learning and adapting in the face of evolving technological challenges.
A key highlight of the event was the Rank Ceremony, where top-performing trainees were recognized for their outstanding achievements. The recognition served as a testament to their perseverance and commitment throughout the intensive training.
